Betterlore (https://betterlore.com) is an iGaming brand that brings new online games to the market. In recent years, we have developed the first of these games together with the supporting infrastructure. The company has German roots with locations in Malta and Serbia. The games are located both in Germany and in the cloud. For the further development of our brand Betterlore we are looking for a Frontend Game Developer (m/f/d) to expand or development team.

Your responsibilities:

  • As our Frontend Developer (m/f/d) you focus on the development of interactive dynamic applications for the frontend of our innovative B2B online games.
  • Here, you will be a crucial interface to our backend developers and the product team and act as a know-howcarrier in your area for deciding on the used technologies and the software architecture.
  • In close collaboration with our UX/UI designer, you bring their vision to life and deliver a great experience to the end user.
  • You will also supervise the implementation of new interface features and take care of testing and debugging according to the client's specifications and your own ideas.
  • Last but not least, you will be actively involved in the overall product and platform development and play a special role in defining the look and functionality of new applications and uses.

Your qualifications:

  • Several years of experience in frontend web development, services and conception of modern user-friendly user interfaces as well as responsive designs for websites and web applications
  • IT related Degree is highly appreciated
  • Good knowledge and experience with DOM, CSS, HTML Canvas, JavaScript
  • Experience and understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • Experience with WebGL and related libraries (e.g. CreateJs, PixiJs)
  • Very good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Business fluent German is appreciated
