Solis Ortus Service Ltd. is a B2C online venture within the Merkur Group that was founded in June 2021. The online venture operates an online gambling platform for virtual slot machine games. We are currently looking for a part-time accountant to support our finance department. A significant part of the role will involve supporting EPG Solution Services, which is also part of the Merkur Group. The tasks and responsibilities associated with this role will be similar to those currently performed for Solis Ortus Services Ltd.

Responsibilities:

  • In the role of part-time accountant, you will be supporting the team with general finance and management accounting documentation and reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting as may be required.
  • You will be responsible for both internal reporting requirements (as a company and within the Group), as well as external reporting requirements as might be required from time to time.
  • In this position, you will be responsible for documentation of the information and you will be using tools such as MSExcel and SAP.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in a finance related position; experience in a gaming environment will be considered an asset
  • A B.Com. qualification in Accounting, or ACCA qualification or equivalent. Persons who are in process of obtaining the qualification or who have relevant experience in the industry may still apply for the role
  • Proficiency in the use of Excel; knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset
  • Experience in banking or payments industries is considered an asset
